Well, uh, I've been off of vent all day, trying to get OC'd/Tweaked back up to the 10k on 3dmark06 I got with my old mobo. Getting very very close. Really wish I could get this damn mobo over it's chipset limit.

Best CPU overclock during benching

My 8800GTS baby getting oc'd hard.

Well, to start here is the score at stock settings/clock speeds.
CPU @ Stock, 2.13 PCI-E @ Stock 100MHz GPU @ Stock 513 Core 792 Mem = 8097 3DMarks

And here is the rest, in order of lowest score to highest score.

CPU @ 2.88, PCI-E @ 110MHz, GPU @ Stock, Services Killed
8696 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.90, PCI-E @ 110MHz, GPU @ Stock
8792 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.88, PCI-E @ 120MHz, GPU @ 614 Core 800 Mem
9593 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.88 PCI-E @ 120MHz GPU @ 614 Core 800 Mem
9614 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.90 PCI-E @ 110MHz GPU @ 612 Core 792 Mem
9641 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.88 PCI-E @ 110MHz GPU @ 614 Core 800 Mem Services killed
9758 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.88 PCI-E @ 120MHz GPU @ 627 Core 812 Mem Services killed Timings @ 5-5-5-12
9779 3DMarks

CPU @ 2.89 PCI-E @ 120MHz GPU @ 632 Core 812 Mem Services Killed Timings @ 5-5-5-12
9792 3DMarks

Overall there is a 21% performance increase.

And yes, I'm willing to risk my hardware for that.
Through all of this, I've reached a high-performance, and maintainable setting for my hardware

Some of you were there for this, but I finally broke 10k again, and even better, it is at a sustainable level of clock speeds, for daily usage.

I hope my guide can help some of you l2p.
Cool, I think I can break 10k in 3dmark03 Big Grin
I'm writing an all-in-one tweak guide for nubs like snowy who have bad computers. I'll be done in a few days.
/hawt btw
your using atitool to oc an nvidia card?

ATITool supports all video cards, except the x1950 pro.

ATITool is easy mode.

It's only the beginning!

And yes, I know 30min on orthos isn't considered "stable", but it lets me know it's good enough to push it up 200 more mhz. Running RAM at a 2:1 ratio, so my ram was clocked at 1200 mhz on stock voltage! Smile

I consider 30 minutes plenty stable. Rofl.

I'm running at 4:5, so 350x8 = 2800 MHz, and ram at 875 (800 default)
